Overview — The World Ship Society, Port of New York Branch is one of the most vibrant maritime enthusiast groups in the world, fostering an unparalleled passion for the history and future of maritime passenger transportation, maritime exploration, and New York area harbors. Membership supports the society’s activities, newsletters, and member outreach. The Branch is active Sept - June.
Individual Membership is for one adult. Membership includes THE PORTHOLE digital newsletters, virtual program invitations, in-person event invitations and voting rights. Membership premiums are occasionally provided.

Receive THE PORTHOLE, our monthly digitally published newsletter (Sept-June), featuring program notices, event notices, maritime and enthusiast articles and news, photos, and more.
Attend live virtual programs presented monthly (Sept-June) by maritime authors, historians, captains, designers, collectors, and port officials.
Members are offered multiple organized in-person visits throughout the year to such locations such as shipyards, museums, terminals, and onboard cruise ship tours. Members are encouraged to participate in group cruises when offered.

Memberships are by calendar year with the exception of automatic subscription renewals. Automatic renewal membership subscriptions may be cancelled at any time via the WSS-PONY website Customer Account Login where members who create an account can also securely self-manage their user profile details and shopping history.
WSS PONY will use member contact information solely for society business, publications, and event communications. Information will not be sold or shared with third parties without consent.
